The Disability:IN North Carolina’s (DI-NC) 2025 Fall Conference was a resounding success. The theme Mastering AdapABILITY in a Changing Landscape was energized by keynote speakers Doug McCullough (No Pity, No Pedestals) and Nate Salley (Seeds of Success).
Board Member Ali Rutz led a lively discussion with Claire Healy, Associate, K&L Gates, LLC and Brian Clarke, Partner, Van Kampen Law centered on accommodation requests at work.
Special awards honored the work of Mayia Warren, musician and motivational speaker, and Larry Sprinkle, WCNC s former weatherman, and Evan Turtz, former SVP & General Counsel, Trane Technologies. Nine (9) NC businesses were recognized for a 2025 DI-NC Employer Award.
